I open

I awake daily to a night sky

—where am i?

A look around holds my daze

Figuring a way to make due with this rain

—eyes still heavy from sleepless pain

I lay again

Looking toward the—last days that held promises in this morrow

These dark clouds blur my vision with its sorrow

–a seeking for the sun at night

Reminiscing on a once moon i saw so bright

And oh that lonely star —

Bold enough to be the only to ignite

This darkened sky

—shreds of the wind burning my eyes

But I—

awaken to send

This destiny, the same one i’ve been holding within

A message

To the darkened sky that awoke the moon lastnight

Leading the way for a sun to shine so bright

—i’ll blink now to remind again

Where i am

Feeling its prescence

This present–darkened sky

Lightened a bit to breeze my —

“Asleep along the night not aware of the time–a time, nor the last time, These taken daze, withheld a gaze only a night could see. Maybe i should say it was whatever was left within me. All to get through this way, a darkened day. Not a worry about what tomorrow holds. I guess that’s why I was made this way.”
